The owner wanted a clean look, with wooden accented furniture and full height mirror wall to make the space appear bigger and brighter. At the dining area, a custom settee with flip-up cover and storage space was manufactured. These modern features are contrasted by the selected wallpaper which reeks a nostalgic oriental look and feel.

Keeping aligned to the condominium’s name, the owners wanted their unit to be modern with a touch of rustic. Seamless integration of wall, floor and carpentry creates this simple yet classy home. The false ceiling gels in with the CraftStone feature wall, and a suspended TV console hides unsightly wires and cables. On the other end is an integrated white laminate full-height carpentry with the open storage to create a staggered effect.

A sea-facing HDB unit at Marine Parade was thoroughly renovated, including the front door recess area where a WPC aluminium metal gate was customized with digital lockset. The artificial grass gives a warm welcome. A special preview window was also created at the study room to allow the parents to supervise the kids easily.

The muted CraftStone feature wall blends in with the owner’s concoction of exquisite display and furniture while the selected grey-colored grout accentuates the 3-dimensional feel. This wall naturally becomes the topic of conversation at parties and events.

A movie-buff, the home owner requested for a living room similar to a private home theatre. Special curtain tracks were installed to block out unwanted light and the cove lights and down lights create a soft glow similar to the cinemas. In the master bedroom, a custom-made dressing table integrates seamlessly with the headboard with recessed light to create a cozy dreamy feel.

About Music

Z L had an opportunity to re-create the former fire station along Upper Bukit Timah Road into a music haven and school. Neutral colours selected for the walls and floors, as well as ample amount of natural light make this music academy a joy to be in.
